Sunday School

Children learn about God, Jesus, the Bible, and being a Christian among small groups of similar-aged peers in Sunday School.  Classes are divided into preschoolers/kindergartners and 1st grade - 5th grade.  We welcome children into worship with their families, then part-way into the 10:30 am service a Children’s Moment provides them and the entire congregation a chance to hear the day’s primary message at a simple level they can relate to.  From there, children up to 5th grade may head out to nursery care or Sunday school class.

The curriculum we are using is called Live B.I.G. (Belief in God).  Live B.I.G. helps children see, hear and live their belief in God. This is done by characters who model B.I.G. behavior, travel segments (DVD) featuring B.I.G. ministries by everyday B.I.G. people, and cool music too!

"Believe in God, believe also in me."   John 14:1

Our Children's Ministry coordinators are Dawn Lupkes and Kerry Nestegard.  They help a team of adults prepare for each week's lesson.  Together the coordinators and other adult volunteers offer an excellent Children's Ministry program.  Please bring your children and join us!

Sunday school will be on summer vacation after June 10th.  Classes with resume in the fall.
